I've checked out a few different programs but since I am very limited on the amount of NOISE I can make in my house (damn roomates!!!) I have to do all my mixing & production through HEADPHONES. Now, try cuing up a song in say.....Traktor using just headphones. Hind of a pain in the ass if you know what I mean! So, I'll admit it......I use a very VISUALLY intense program called Atomix MP3. Now, don't get me wrong. I've only touched that shitty little "atomix" button once and let me tell you.....I sounded like CRAP! I just wanted to see what it did. It allows me to SEE the music to line up the beats. That makes my job a milion times easier and I don't have to worry about bothering my roomates, who sleep during the day/evening since they have a night job. You don't know how tempting it is sometimes, to just unplug those head phones and just BLAST a mix! LOL But that just wouldn't be very nice....... So anyway, I tried Traktor but since I've been so busy doing mixes, I really just don't have a lot of time to spend learning another program. I had some troble trying to....I think it was switching tracks or loading them or something. Got frustated and put it aside.

What did you not like about it? I may take a few weeks to investigate Traktor a little further. Maybe you could give me some help?

@ djalex, Hey mate i have bought traktor 2.5 two years ago, and upgraded to 2.6.2 and when i use the record mix function (not live record) Traktor always crashes at some point during the mix recording and i get an unhandled exception error that traktor could not read from the memory. are you having any problems like this?
cheers Paul

djpsychotrance, are you sure the problem isn't with your computer? Do you have the capability to run the upgraded program? Have you tried re-installing the program?

Hmmmmmmm. Well, I hat to ask this but is it a "copy" or did you buy it? If you bought it, I'd be asking the manufacturer if anyone else has reported this problem and/or is there a fix for it! That sounds strange......
