I would like to start a trance dj battle any genre of trance 60-80 minute mix using live mixing software such as traktor dj , pcdj...etc. (please no use of mixmeister allowed this is not true live mixing as you just drop tracks into a timeline then adjust your transitions).

You can send the mix to me and I'll host it for you. Use www.yousendit.com and just email me the mix.

No, youdon't need to include the track list. This will need to be an anonymous contest though so nothing to indicatse which mix belongs to which DJ (no name drop-in's or anything). That way people voting can just listen and vote; no popularity contest. Of course, when you send me your mix, I'll have to know which is which but members voting wouldn't know until all the votes are counted. I'll leaving the voting open for three weeks.
Your opponent has been having troble signing in and I'm working on that!

bad news Traktor has messed up on me, I dont know how to fix it, but when I go to write a mix, it sais that there are tracks missing from the playlist that are required to write the mix. But they all are there... I dunno what it is, but if I cant get it to work I'll have to forfeit. BUt I'll gladly send in one of my older sets if you want, just for the fun of it.

Hi, The problem you are having with Traktor not being able to recognise the tracks when you try to write the mix could be one of many faults - it could be that you have moved the tracks to another directory, changed the folder name that the tracks are in or you have maybe altered the track file names in some way. If this does'nt help then may I suggest that you go into the Native Instruments folder in you're program files folder, open the Native Instruments folder then copy the Traktor folder and paste it to another part of you're hard drive. Then uninstal Traktor then re-install it and put the original Traktor folder that you've saved back into the Native Instruments folder, this will overwrite the new Traktor folder. This will only work if you did not change the track's directory or filenames of the tracks inbetween making the mix and trying to write it. If you did'nt change and filenames or directories then this may be because you have a pirate copy. If this is the case then PM me as I have bought Traktor and may be able to help you out.
Hope this helps
